Application Bar Media Controls

The Application Bar Media Controls control which media controls appear on the application bar, and how much of the application bar is used to show these.

The Application Bar Media Controls allow the user to see the text, priority, and lookup media of the current  job on the application bar. Users may use these media controls to set media on the current job instead of using the Lexacom window.

In particular, users with smaller monitors may wish to reduce the amount of space used to show summary items.

Available Media

4. Available Media

Each media that can appear on the application bar has its own switch that controls whether the item is shown on the application bar. If switched on, the media will appear on the application bar in the media summaries section, and if switched off the item will be hidden.

Some media (e.g. attachments) cannot be shown on the application bar.

If a media is hidden from the application bar it may still be viewed or edited from the application window.

The settings will display the available media for the current workflow (if a job is open). If there is no job open, the Application Bar Media Items cannot be set. Users may select different combinations of media to appear for their different workflows.
