Forgotten Password

 
Users may reset their Lexacom password from the login page of any Lexacom product, including the online Lexacom Portal portal. Users first generate a Reset Password link by clicking Forgotten Password, entering their email address into the Reset Password form, and clicking Submit. Users will then receive an automated email to their email address with a link to follow to set a new password. Users must enter and confirm their new password, and click Submit to complete the password reset process.
 

Incorrect Password Attempts & Account Lockout

 
Users who attempt to log in with an incorrect password will receive a warning that their password is incorrect.
 
 
Further attempts with an incorrect password will display a number of authorisation attempts remaining.
 
 
If the number of attempts is exceeded without a successful login, the account will be locked out for 5 minutes. The count of failed logins is reset on successful login.
 
 
The Account lockout will be cleared after 5 minutes, or if the account password is reset.
