Licensing

Lexacom products are licensed by a number of users that can be assigned to roles in the given service.

A user consumes a licence for a service if they are a member of one or more of the Roles that correspond to that service. A user can be a member of any number of roles corresponding to a service, and will only consume a single licence.

Echo

Echo has a single role (Echo Live). All users that must use Echo (with the Comprehension Engine®) must be a member of this role.

Lexacom

Lexacom has many roles, corresponding to different user roles within the application. If a user is a member of any of these roles they would consume a single Lexacom licence. A user could be a member of many Lexacom roles and would consume only a single licence.

All users that work on jobs in Lexacom require licences - job authors, typists, and administrative users.
