Recording Hotkey

 
The Recording Hotkey tab allows the user to set their preferred hotkey to control recording in Echo.

Listen Hotkey dropdown

The Listen Hotkey dropdown controls the hotkey used to start and stop recording in Echo.

Replacement Mode dropdown

2. Replacement Mode dropdown
The Replacement Mode Hotkey dropdown controls the hotkey used to change the Replacement Mode in Echo. Pressing the hotkey will cycle through the team's available Modes.

Send Transcriptions by Key Press checkbox

3. Send Transcriptions by Key Press checkbox
The Send Transcriptions by Key Press checkbox controls whether Echo inputs transcription using the clipboard (default, if unchecked), or by simulated key press (if checked).
 
Echo will use Key Press mode if the transcription includes Comprehension Engine® substitutions with keystrokes.
