The Details tab displays the main team settings, including the team Name, Postcode, Owner, and team settings not corresponding to specific Lexacom services or products.
Name field
The Name field displays the name of the Team. The user may update the Team name from this field.
The Owner field displays the owner of the Team. The current Team Owner may change the Owner to any active member of the team.
If the current Team Owner changes the Owner to another user, they will lose permissions to manage the team unless they are also a member of the Team Admin role.
The Allow Installer Downloads switch allows the user to control whether users in the team are able to download the application installer for Echo and Lexacom their My Account page. If switched on, members of the team may download the installer corresponding to this team's current version from their My Account page. If switched off, members of the team may not download the installer for this team from their My Account page.
Teams may prefer to disable allowing team members from installing the application installer if they prefer to manage deployment of software centrally.
If the user is a member of multiple teams, they may be able to download the installer for their other teams from their My Account page.
The Allow Auto Updates switch allows the user to control whether the team receives automatic updates to their client applications. If switched on, client applications like Echo and Lexacom will automatically check for and apply updates. If switched off, the team will not receive automatic client updates. It is generally recommended that automatic updates are only disabled if there is a technical or governance requirement to prevent automatic updates.
Teams may prefer to disable automatic updates if they prefer to roll out software updates centrally, or if users are unable to deploy new updates without assistance.
The Multi-factor Authentication Only switch displays whether the team requires multi-factor authentication to access Lexacom products under that team. If switched on, only users with multi-factor authentication enabled will be able to access the Lexacom products enabled for this team. Users without multi-factor authentication enabled will see the team as unavailable in Team Selection. Users may enable multi-factor authentication through Lexacom Portal.
Only Sysadmins may toggle Multi-factor authentication only.
Reseller teams only. The Allow Parent to Administer Managed Teams switch allows the user to change whether Parent Teams can administer the team's managed teams.
