Add a Pool

Team owners and users with the Admin role may add a new pool from the Pools table.

Enter Pool Name

Enter a name for the new Pool.

Enter Pool Description

2. Enter Pool Description
Enter a Description for the new Pool. A good description should allow Team owners and users with the Admin role to understand which users should be a member of this pool.

[Optional] Tick "Is Locked" checkbox

3. [Optional] Tick "Is Locked" checkbox
Tick the "Is Locked" checkbox if you wish prevent the members of the pool from being changed. It is not advised to tick this for a new pool as you will be unable to add any members to the new pool.

Select the Category

4. Select the Category
Select the category of the pool from the dropdown. The category of the pool describes the function of the users in the pool.

Authors
Pools for users who will be authoring jobs
Admins
Pools for users with an administrative (non-typing) function
NonAuthors
Pools for users with a non-author (e.g. transcriber) role
Seniors
Pools for users with a Senior role

Click Save tick

5. Click Save tick
Click the Save tick to save the new pool.

Click Submit

Click Submit button to complete.
