Application Bar (Echo mode)

 
When using Echo and not working on a job, the Lexacom application bar shows the Echo record button, the current Comprehension Engine® mode, and the Echo visualiser.

Record button

1. Record button
The Record button allows the user to begin recording with Echo. Alternatively the recording may be controlled by a device or the Echo recording hotkey.

Comprehension Engine mode

2. Comprehension Engine mode
The Comprehension Engine® mode icon displays the current Comprehension Engine® mode. The mode may be cycled by clicking on the Comprehension Engine® mode icon,  pressing the F2 button on a Philips or Olympus handset, or pressing the Comprehension Engine® Hotkey. The mode determines which terminology and amendments are performed by the Comprehension Engine®.
 
The available modes will vary according to the user's team. A description of the current mode will appear as a tooltip when hovering the mouse over the mode icon.

Echo visualiser

3. Echo visualiser
The Echo visualiser displays a visualisation of the user's voice as they record with Echo. Whilst recording with Echo, the visualiser will display a waveform that reacts to the user's voice, like so:
