The Echo tab allows the user to set the settings related to Echo, including their listen and Comprehension Engine® hotkeys, and how their transcription is returned.
Words appear letter-by-letter switch
The Words appear letter-by-letter switch controls whether text is returned in blocks, or as a series of individual letters. The different modes may work better in different applications.
The Use Comprehension Engine® to proofread my transcriptions switch controls whether the returned transcription is passed through Comprehension Engine® proofreading when this is returned.
If not enabled, only the terminology and amendments of the current Comprehension Engine® Mode will be applied.
If enabled, Comprehension Engine® will proofread the transcription to correct basic grammar and punctuation errors.
The Comprehension Engine® hotkey dropdown controls the hotkey used to change the Replacement Mode in Echo. Pressing the hotkey will cycle through the team's available Modes.
