Import (Author)

 
Authors may import audio files using the Import button. The jobs created by importing audio files will be automatically progressed to the second workflow step of their chosen workflow.

Select a Workflow

Select a workflow from the available workflows.

Select the audio file(s)

Select the audio file(s) to import. Navigate to the folder in the tree view, and click to select the file(s) that are required.
 
 Lexacom supports the import of .WAV, .DSS, and .DS2 files created with compatible Olympus and Philips devices.

Selection Controls

The Selection Controls allow the user to alter their current selection:
 
  • The Select All button will select all available audio files.
  • The Clear Selection button will deselect all selected files.
  • The Invert Selection button will invert the selection of available audio files, deselecting any selected files, and selecting any unselected files.
 
These functions will only apply to folders that have been opened in the tree view above.

Keep Files after Importing

If Keep Files after Importing is ticked the selected files will be retained on the device after importing. If this is unticked, the selected files will be erased from the device (including the user's local files) after importing.

Number of Files Selected

The number of files selected will appear in the bottom right of the Import window.

Click Import Selected Files

Click the Import Selected Files button to import the selected files.
 
Lexacom will create a job for each selected file. The job will be saved and automatically progressed to the second step of the selected workflow. If 'Keep files after importing?' was unchecked, the selected files will be erased from the device or folder.
